Suches, GA 30572

Tucked up in the high country of the North Georgia Mountains near the crest of the Appalachian Mountains sits this 2.2 acre tract that was once part of an old mountain farm in Suches, Georgia, a place folks have long called “The Valley Above the Clouds.” Sitting around 3,000 feet in elevation, the land lays in a gentle rolling meadow with wide views looking across surrounding mountains and valleys. The property is surrounded by neighboring farmland with open meadows and horses grazing nearby, giving the area a peaceful farm community feel that has made Suches special for generations. The elevation also brings cool summers and steady mountain breezes folks from down country come here to enjoy. The land offers great mountain homesteading potential with room for gardening, and a small spring branch flows through one corner of the property, adding to the natural setting. One thing getting harder to find in the mountains is freedom with your land, and this property has it..no restrictions and no HOA. Improvements include a 46' x 66' barndominium already set up with two bedrooms and one bath. The middle of the building features a large drive-through RV bay with asphalt flooring, giving plenty of space for RV storage, equipment, or workshop use. Also on the property is an old barn with mountain character, an 18' x 18' storage building, and an additional phenomenal mountain view homesite if you ever wanted to build a cabin or mountain home. Location is hard to beat. Lake Winfield Scott is only about a half mile away, one of North Georgia's hidden treasures for fishing and quiet time by the water. The Appalachian Trail and Cooper's Creek are also nearby, offering excellent hiking and some of the best trout fishing in the mountains. A very unique mountain property and your chance to own a piece of paradise.
